About Your Trainer

Lindsay is the owner and program developer of Carlsbad Boot Camp for Women. She is certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer from the National Endurance and Sports Training Association (NESTA) and is CPR and AED certified by the American Heart Association. She also earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and a minor in Communication.

Lindsay has been active in physical fitness and sports her entire life. In her childhood, she was active in softball and took her first weights and aerobics class in high school. Later, she found a passion for cardio kickboxing, yoga, cycling, hiking and weight lifting. Her philosophy on exercise is to commit, be present, work hard, and get on with your day. At camp, you will find that she applies that principle to each and every hour-long camp session. She asks that you push yourself during the hour you are there; make it worth your time!

Looking to shake-up her routine, Lindsay enrolled in a Carlsbad boot camp class in 2007. She immediately fell in love with the unique, motivating and fun workout and just a few short months later, decided to pursue her personal trainer certification. In 2009, Lindsay was offered the opportunity to take over the camp (from former owner and trainer Gayle Agg- under the Adventure Boot Camp name) and jumped at the opportunity to work with other women who are looking to make a positive change in their physique and well-being.

As a busy mom, business owner, employee and wife, Lindsay understands the struggle many women face with trying to find the proper balance between diet, exercise, and time. She has battled the scale as a young adult and again post-pregnancy and understands the unique challenges that women face in the weight and body-image departments. Lindsay is excited to offer her support and guidance to others looking to achieve their individual weight and fitness goals. Lindsay lives in Vista, CA with her husband and her son born in May 2009.
